Testing Methodology

For Windows maintenance, a useful test records the Windows version and build, device hardware, the exact change made and the original metric. Common checks include disk free space, startup time, CPU and memory use at idle, a repeated game benchmark, and whether essential apps still work. We do not claim laboratory testing that has not been performed. Where we have not personally verified the behavior of a particular release, the guide explicitly describes it as a documented feature rather than a tested result.
